PSYPACT & Telehealth Across State Lines

If you’re located outside of Virginia, you may still be able to work with me through PSYPACT. This allows licensed psychologists to provide telehealth services across participating states. Below, you’ll find a brief overview of how this works and whether it may apply to you, along with a map of participating states.

PSYPACT (Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact) is an agreement between participating states that allows licensed psychologists to provide telehealth services across state lines.

This means that if you’re physically located in a PSYPACT-participating state at the time of your session, we can meet virtually—even if you don’t live in Virginia. You can scroll to the bottom of this page to view a current map of participating states.

What is PSYPACT?

Insurance & Payment for Out-of-State Clients

At this time, insurance is only accepted for clients located in Virginia.

If you are located outside of Virginia, services are offered on a self-pay basis. This is due to insurance regulations that limit coverage across state lines, even when telehealth is permitted through PSYPACT.

Session fees and additional details can be found on my Services & Investment page.
